KB1041: Can I automate the installer for 010 Editor?
On Windows the installer can be automated by using the command line switches '/SILENT' or '/VERYSILENT' when running the installer. The '/SILENT' switch will install 010 Editor with the default options and will only display a progress dialog. If the '/VERYSILENT' switch is used the installation will occur with the default options but no progress dialog is displayed.
The installation of a license can also be automated with the installer. Copy the following file:
to the directory where the installer exists and paste your name and password into the file between the quotes. When the installer is run you will be asked to install the license to the current machine.
